I'm a big girl
Words spoken by Jamie frequently:
"I'm tall", "I'm strong", "Look at my muscles","My legs are long","Hear my heart beat","I'm a big girl", "Why don't you buy it for me?", "Why did you buy it?" (Mum's sure that Jamie's trying to find out what makes mum buy certain things)
The other day while Jamie and mum were walking on a path, Jamie said, "Mum, that girl is a big girl, same as me!" Mum asked, 'Who?" Jamie pointed at a girl who just walked pass, "that girl! Mum, she is big, the same as me, yeh? Same as me, yes?". Mum had to say, 'Yes', but 'that girl' was a primary school girl aged about 8-10.
In the evening that day, Jamie laid herself long in a couch at home while her dad was watching a comic documentary. Some people on TV were swearing, and then mum said to dad, "That's not something a 3 year old can watch!" Jamie said, "Mum, I'm not 3, I'm 4!" Mum corrected she still has to wait to turn to 4, Jamie said, 'No, I am actually 6!"
Jamie certainly wants to grow fast!
